WS6 vs Cobalt SS/TC Rematch *Video* My car: 2000 A4 WS6 Mods: Lid, Longtubes, cutout, diablo tune, catback, LS6 intake,free mods, stock 3.23's His car: 2009 Cobalt SS/Turbo Mods: FMIC,CAI,Exhaust,Tune Video: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/2...009_634279.htm 1st Race: 50-130 I got the jump, he pulled back in my lead and stayed even with me till 130 where i would start to pull away 2nd Race: 50-130 started pulling on him from the go, kept about a full car lead to 130 3rd Race: 40 Roll (my dead spot) Dead even with him starting to pull 4th Race: 40 Roll again my dead spot He missed a gear 5th Race: 30 Roll (my powerband)
I spun pretty bad, caught traction but he was gaining on me quick
6th Race: 30 Roll (my powerband) Didnt spin, hooked and pulled a car on him, he wasnt coming back that time lol 7th Race: 45-120 i pull on him, he comes back but cant break my pull fully because the faster we go the more i start to get him topend

Can't view the vidz at work, but it sounds like some really good runs. Glad GM ditched the supercharger and went turbo on the new cobalts.

^ for the SS's? are you sure about that? my buddies in 06 came to 30grand total, i think thats after all the financing charges and everything but still. . .
he also got the upgraded package with the Recaro racing seats and limited slip differential.

he just got the car not to long ago...hes about to de-wing it. most cobalts around here take that thing off within the first week lol

they have alot of topend to, i could barley pull away from him after 130+ and you can get a SS/TC for round 18k used and about 23k new

nah i have my stock ws6 wheels on right now, but i have ran the same trap speed on my 19's as my 17's because the 19's tire arent tall they are the same as the 17's

Wtf? I looked online they only come with 260 HP and FWD so how the hell did it keep up with something atleast 350 HP and RWD?

stock they put 245-250 rwhp, with just a tune they put 290-300 and the mods that cobalt has it probably has 310-315rwhp

didn't the vid say 310whp?? they gain a lot from simple mods...310 to the wheels in a light car is very good...
