It was a 2002 SS with a 408 Stroker and a 200 shot. Made 465 rwhp and 485 rwtq on motor. Had a 200 shot on it also. Raped him pretty bad on motor and he accused me of spraying which I laughed at him and told him we can go again this time with the spray and you can get beat by a couple of aircraft carrier lengths is he wants too. He declined the ass whipping and went his way with tail between his legs.

Could be tune, could be dyno, could be alot of things. Regardless....if correction...yea, ok, a lil low, but not too too bad. Could just be a VERY safe tune, small cam, restrictive heads ect. Also food for thought...my car dyno'd 262, 303 torque stock. Lid, cut out, gears, and I raced a exhaust+ unknown modded ws6, and was reeling him in. He was out in front of me, and took the hit, and by the time he slammed on his breaks to make an exit, I went from 1.5-2 cars back, to up to having my fender at his door. Numbers don't always mean everything.

i agree. the set up on the 402 is its got a bit more compression then stock, afr 205s, custom ground cam 600+ lift, ported fast 90/90. also the car is tuned with speed density.

I would say its more common than most would like to admit. Most of the time if people don't make what they want to, they don't post it up. Same way with drag times. Everybody thinks a bolt-on f-body should be solidly in the 12's and most of the time that's not the case. Nobody likes to hear about how they're car isn't making as much power or isn't as fast as it should be. Especially when they have a bunch of money invested.

It was a VERY mild heads and cam on it to be a daily driver. Plus I found otu after I sold it that my tuner hads the tune WAY off too. The cam wouldnt even be big in a stock cubed LS1. The builder tried to make it ver y easy to drive everyday which is was. The guy who bought it did it up right though.
