Nice runs. It didnt really look like any 1 car was really pulling away from the other in any of the vids. Very nice quality of video.. HD I assume?

wonder if the cobra knew running with the top down from a roll was hurting his topend forget what the % of increased aero drag is but its significant. good runs though.

have you taken your car to a track yet?

ohyea the way your car is hitting the rev limiter you might wanna check your tranny fluid make sure it isnt low. you got some slippage going on.

i had the same issue after i had changed my tranny oil. at wot it would sometimes not shit and ping off the limiter untill i let off the gas some. it sucks when you lose your momentum

yea he know it would kill his topend but it was just to nice out lol also he had just bought the car that day about 2 hours earlyer. also me hitting the limiter is coming from me bump shifting it from 1-2-3-D when i leave it in D it dosent do it.

i agree if anything just drop it to 3rd so it stays out of over drive.

you have an auto, let it do its job it'll shift just fine. short revving a couple hundred rpm's wont hurt as much as hitting the rev limiter but to each his own

nice ride thou too man, love the sound with the cut-out open!

About 95% of the intelligent people on this site tell you not to shift yourself, yet you continue to do so...........why? PNYKLR-TA nailed it....3rd will keep it ready to go!

Great video and excellent racing! I gotta agree with these guys, let it shift itself. Even my G8, which has a mode where you can shift it yourself, does better by letting it shift itself.

putting it in 3rd still wont make it not downshift going from those type of rolls we did i just need to be a little quicker about shifting it and as ive stated before i run mostly manual cars the downkick from the auto will get the other cars atleast a half a car jump on me. but i have an SS3600 waiting to be installed so i wont need to do that anymore

Good vid's. Not the outcomes I was expecting though... Cobra doesn't seem up to par with what i have raced.

u make some nice daytime videos i agree tell the cobra to put his top up that was killing him. even if we race with the t tops off it hurts a good amount. when i was an auto with a 4k stall before i did the t56 swap i always dropped it in the right gear so there was no delay but my tranny never missed a beat and shifted everytime it helped me win alot of races u need a tune. also see the second race you posed after u hit the limiter and then it shifted you could hear u werent that high in the rpm band just wait to u throw the stall in it ull be at 5500-6k all the time ull love it

its a vert so its heavyer but i held a car on a stock coupe to 130, ive went 12.7@110 the Z28 went 12.4@112 and the GTO should be somewhere close to that the cobra owner did just get that car 2 hours before those races took place, he went from a forged/built/nitrosed GT and he said he wasnt use to the car yet but he was doing pretty good
