Eh. I'm just happy he came back with a 12.1 that I gave him only a day off. 'cuz I'm a nice fella like that
seriously though 99_Z28 you've caught a lot of shit on here but you handle it well (for the most part) and I applaud you for that. A lot of people couldn't handle that. Just tone down a bit on the shit-talkin alright bro?
edit-nah man I had gone back to the main SRK page just as he posted and caught it quick
it takes less than 30 sec to ban someone

HAHHAHAHHAAAAAAA!!!!!! Freakin awesome! I set my alarm for the middle of the night just to check this out. Just like I thought, a SOLID 1.6 60' will be needed with that auto and that trap; he might be able to do it down the road but it's gonna be tough to hit with those skinny MTs and no suspension work done. Also not easy to get off the line with his lack of gearing, even with all the weight reduction.
Nice try, dude. Perhaps in better weather (although your trap is gonna drop as weather warms up and allows for the better launch).

And my response to that comment in the last thread: "Good elevation but the only other thing you have going for you is the weight - race weight or without driver? I personally don't see it happening on a stock suspension, 3.42s, those skinny radials and the power you're probably making with that cam. If I had to put money on it, mine would be on you being banned by next weekend because you don't hit the time. I could be wrong...but I guess we'll know in a little over a week."

Stock suspension? I hit a 1.49 60ft with my completly stock suspension 2002 Camaro Z28. No suspension work what so ever has been done to my car. I still even have the stock torqe arm!! Oh and it's 3600lbs with me in the car, also stock bottom end motor!!

What gearing, how much power, and what tires, though? Also, what stall (auto or 6-speed)? I'm basing my statement on the fact that he's only got 3.42s with a 3500 stall and 255 MT radials on top of the fact that he's only probably putting about 360 or so to the wheels. It's the combination of all that that makes it that much harder to hit a 1.6 or better 60' on the stock suspension.
Throw some wider tires or bias plies on there and he shouldn't have a problem.
