He was actually on Nittos. He told me that his best ever was an 11.8, but he was on street tires at that time so he was hoping for better. Sucks to put sticky tires on it and then run 2-3 tenths slower.

$900/pair Patriot 243s, 224/228 cam, stock intake/ported TB, bolt-ons, and one heavy-ass drivetrain (12-bolt with 4.10s, built MN12 trans, 3.5" driveshaft, Textralia OZ700, 17" SS wheels). Put down 408/380 SAE with the cutout open the other day and 400/367 with it closed before it was installed and retuned for it open. The races in this thread are from a few weeks ago before the cutout was installed.

Are you still going to do new heads and cam? I was thinking you said you had plans to re do some of the top end.

Great sig quote

Oh yea man, you would really love a ported FAST 92 / 90-92 TB, I was amazed how much a difference it made on my car when I already had the H/C. You could grab another 50rwhp if you redo the top end, you know that though. TEA makes some killer 243's (325/257) and they were only $1300 complete and they only cost me $1,000 since I had springs already. Dude, 460rwhp is within reach if you keep the car.

I'm just going to keep throwing money at my car since nothing is selling these days.

Yeah, I'm probably gonna do the heads first, maybe later this year. I was thinking about going with the PRC Stage 2.5 LS6 heads from TSP (about $1,300 assembled I believe). If they pick up well, I'll leave this cam in for now and do the 92/92 setup after that, but if the gain is minimal, I'll probably swap a bigger cam in and then do the 92/92 after that. And at some point I'll have to swap the fuel pump/injectors when I do all of that. First step is to get these heads off the car, though.

I want to say my buddy knows someone with the TEA heads he's selling new, though, so I'm waiting to find out the specs on those and I'll consider picking them up.

Iron block = 200 lbs + the poundage of that heavy ass Eaton S/C. I'd take a base GT+Aluminator+Procharger built 281 over that any day. Now I've divulged my master plan.

Hey were you over at the burger king on sat night?
Cause i saw all the cars you just mentioned and i notice your from my area.
I stopped in but didnt stick around just checked out some of the cars and had to jet.

Is that a meet spot every sat? Cause i havent been out there past few years just cause i got so many tickets as a teen there!

But i notice the cops calmed down a bit now.

If next sat is nice im going to stick around, you have to get yourself a camera so you can make some of these...

Make sure you do some research on that Aluminator.

Cool. Just watch the plates and faces since you've pretty much announced the general area you're in.
