Default 02 WS6 vs. 06 GTO vid

Heres a vid to threw together last night finally. We ran before and had the same result but we were just out to have a friendly run. Went from a dig and the straight away is about 1/4 mile long. Enjoy

Nice VID especially when its on streetfire cause that isnt blocked at work

and do you have any power numbers for either car? the T/A i would think would have a tad more horse and weight slightly less, giving it the advantage that showed in the vid!

Sweet lookin T/A you've got too!

Ummm yeah I think a cammed LS1 would have just a slight edge in hp.

Yea i was actually more asking even thou it may have seemed like a statement, i just don't know what those LS2 goats put down to the rear-wheels. . . what somewhere around 350? maybe 360 with a catback?

Op's car with that cam and mods would be more like 370-380?

LS2s put down around 330-350 usually and catbacks might add 5, maybe. OPs car sould be over 400 if its a maunal, just a tad under if its not. Gears also help a bunch.

Could be over is what I meant to put. I did 380 rwhp with a 224/224 in an SS with a horrible tune so he could.

Alright thanks for the comments guys. Well I did things a little ass backwards when modding my car. I had all the mods including the cam(226/226 .609/.600 110LSA) but at the time of having it dyno'd I had shorty headers with the stock cats and Y. At that time it put 350 at the wheels which is weak but when I had the cam spec'd I wasnt concerned with peak power. I wanted to to be fun on the street...and it has a nice torque curve. So Im hoping that PNYKLR is right on the money now with maybe 370ish to the wheels.

No numbers on the GTO just the borla

Keep them comin

You should be more than that. I did 379 rwhp with a smaller cam and lontubes as my only mods.

Good video and nice kill! Does your friend have any plans for more mods? Also, your car looks great with those wheels!

just messin, i came damn close to buying a GTo when i was looking around before buying my camaro, ended up coming down to price, i picked up my 02 camaro for under 10k, and all the GTO's were around 15k over here. but then they are newer but i liked buying my car and having money for mods immediately, i threw my cam and full exhaust in before i owned my car one week.
