I GUESS!

My first 'Tranny-lesson,' about 35 years ago, came when I thought it'd be cool to downshift into 2nd from about 70, use it like the E-brake and slide into the street I was turning on so I'd already be geared to hammer it on down the road...

All my tranny did was CLANK!... and go all quiet on me... Rear Wheel drive of course and not NEAR as impressive as this guy. But it WAS expensive... 'bout $1200... (Thanks Dad!)
