so a guy in a ls2 goat was looking for a run and JD_z28(because all of us that know him, has always got to come up with something)tells him to run me....the little 305 tpi car.....long story short the guy pretty much laid it out there that my piece of shit tpi car was not worthy so insisted the ls1 gto (mods unknown right now but at least an exhaust) that he just put a couple cars on would race me and if I won I could step up to his level....... so we set up a 1st gear roll. which is going to hurt me bad because of pizza cutter 235's on the back of my car. So needaz28 grabs the camera and gets in the mullet mobile and off we go. We line up at about 10-15 and of course we go and my tires just all you can hear is me peddle, peddle, peddle til about 50-60....though still pulling ahead the whole time. As soon as my tires grabbed it was bus length time and then some. I don't know when he let off because was so far behind. When we get back to our meeting spot we shake hands and everyone is like damn NEVER seen a 305 move like that! luckily everyone was silent and said nothing about what really in the car. Then apparently I am now worthy of the ls2 gto.....whatever! He said lets go it will be a close race. well at this point I am still pissed about his attitude so I became MR. smartass and replied with looking dead in his eyes and saying "NO it won't I will walk you just as hard!" Needless to say I don't think he is too happy but at least it gives me something to do next weekend. and I have run ls2 gto's with more mods than his and pulled them, all he has is exhaust...headers, catless mids x pipe and a pair of choke masters on it, NOT tuned

well no offense but as bad as cops have gotten about street racing, I wouldn't be interested in racing a "305" either...not worth the risk or hell even the gas, but I wouldn't be rude and snotty about it
if you want to build a sleeper you have to be able to take that kind of reaction, especially if you and other people refer to it verbally as a 305tpi
yeah I know but he was down to run and run alot. but was totally a prick about it....and when it fires up.......anyone with some knowledge on cars can tell it's got some nuts
most of the time I take it very well and from a lot of people this guy just really got to me for some reason

Really wish I could have watched that video. I have noticed that alot of the ls2 goat guys don't give us ls1s much credit. I have a friend in town that has an 06 a4 with a diablo tune and plugs and wires and I am pretty sure he thinks he would just walk off on me. Once we both get better tires, we will see. But either way, it sounds like it was a good ass kill on the ls1 goat. GET EM OP!!!!!
