Default cammed ls1 vs 347 stroker notch (video)

So a friend of mine just got his tranny fixed and he wanted to run again. Last time we couldnt get a good speed for either of us to run. His car is a mild 347 stroker notchback with a small cam and edelbrock heads I believe. I have a 99 z28 with full exhaust and a vrx4 cam which I love by the way. I dont know if I am doing this the right way or not so if not just highlight it and put it in the box and that should work. I hope you enjoy. OH and there will be more this weekend if the weather holds out.

It really has a lot to do with the cam/head combo he has..... I doubt he has a big cam or that he has the bigger edelbrock heads ie Victor or Victor jr.... just looking at the video seems like he makes plenty downlow and then it falls on its face which means he could use some better breathing mods and a different cam.

Either way the O/P's car pulled like SOB once it go into it's powerband!

Tell travis he did a good job with the music volume. I hate when that shit cuts in and out. But it also sucks when you cant hear the cars. He did a great job on that part.

The mustang did have a bunch down low but you straight reeled his ass in.. Good kill.

How well did you hook in the vid OP?

Also whats his gearing/tranny combo in the mustang.

Good kill again sir.

That is just a funny pic I found online.... the new motor compared to the old motor feel gutless due to not having a tune and needing o2 sensors.

yeah i know the OP said it had a small cam an head combo. But why build a 347 that would obviously have a hard time beating a well built 302.

Seriously thinking about selling my Cobra so i can pick up a Tahoe or Escalade. Something that can tow my bike.

I'd much rather be shopping for a Vette or Supra though.

He bought the car like that. It is a b cam and the smallest edelbrock heads there are. It runs good for what it is.

And you deny that I called you out Don't please. I said we're stronger than this now. You reselected mistakes years passed it seems, that the existence still haunts you. And still you feel like this loneliness is better enraged by this, I don't believe that this way. And I can see the fear in your eyes I've seen it materialize, growing stronger each day.

I can see it as you turn to stone. Still clearly I can here you say. Don't wait, don't give up on me. TWO WEEKS and you ran away.

God I love that song man. I've been playing it on the guitar over and over since Overcome came out and the old lady keeps telling me to learn another one so she don't have to here that one all the time. I think Chiron's next!!!

Good race, gotta love smokin' a built notch with just a cam only car!!! Makes me miss my Camaro.
