Congrats on the kill but I'd still take the ZR1 any day over a van

Enjoy the great 60's while you can! The 2010+ 6 speed vettes have launch control

Yea so would I, thats why I currently have 3 vettes and 3 camaros and tta(thats 6 turbos of 7 cars too)...but the family has to have a way around. This is a family van, not a race van. I ve taken it out of state, Ive launched a boat with it, and its been to the sand dunes and taken 6 little girls to the movies........and its not even mine. Today it picked up people at the airport.

Shoot only 5 people were in it to go to the track.

Look at the video again, it has the time slip. 1320 did not redlight, the slip clearly states the win by the van, also it also states that the Van was winning at 1/8 even if the ZR1 didn't fall aleep at the light.

I am glad everybody liked my video. 1320 can build some sick cars, including my twin turbo vette and Zombie's butt secksor turbo camaro.

The van will hurt a lot of pride at the streets on stop light to stop light races (1/8 miles or less). If you don't believe me, go read all the posts in the "Street Racing & Kill Stories" forum, a ton posts with stop light races starts with "spinning badly", "we both spun off the line", or "spinning till 3rd gear". This is where the AWD + Stall + 10psi off the line = OMGWTFLOL

But on highway races, that's another story. Giant Box + AWD + 6800lbs + 5 guys in a van (lol ghey) = WTFLOL Free Ice Cream LOL A-Team

Oh the Owner of the Van is a muscle guy name Tylor, we should start calling him Mr. T hahaha

It was quicker at 1000 ft also.......

I had a +.260 light. He was late, and not bad for a new guy. Its not uncommon for new people to have 1. sec rt. He had a .800 light. Since most zr1 s dont see the track, Id bet most of the owners dont either, and most of them would have 1 sec + reactions.

Oh my god, he gave up just over half a second to a van>.........That isnt fair, how could he catch a van if it got a whole .5 sec head start? Well, without tire he cant, and you cant put tire on a zr1 easily, great design.

Cant I say....well he has a bigger engine.....his car is OVER half as light.........Its geared better.............blah blah blah. Its a great car, and I commend the guy for even running it.

oh and page 60 hotrod.....powertour......there is a zr1 that ran a 13.29 at BRISTOL....I bet the mph was 145 with that air.It wasnt like a heat soaked blower car in vegas in august on a heat warning day.

This is funny but expected. The van won and the ZR1 lost, its on video and the slips don't lie. On the street againest 99% of ZR1 owners I would not bet againest that van. It has a HUGE advantage of the line and most ZR1 owners, as well as most ZO6 drivers can't drive. They have money and want a fast car. They can't drive it but they have it. There are exceptions and the car SHOULD run this number but most will never see it. Sadly its a fact that most owners will turn their 11 second ride into a mid 13 and thats if they are doing good for them.

I'm not saying it's not impressive, but I certainly hope you at least have a C6Z in your stable with all those cars! I don't know if I'd brag that I have 4 fbody's

Mullett's to the extreme, eh?

And the van kinda seals that deal!

He doesn't have a C6, not even a C5. He only has C2 vettes, this is his cheapest of the three. This has LT1 and T56 in it. They other two are original big blocks with matching numbers...

Looks kinda ricey to me with those fender flares on a classic

That's a shame, otherwise that would be a GREAT looking car!

You sir, obviously need alittle more time looking back at history. That car has been a race car most of its life, from Guldstrand. Its had the flares since the 60's and done many laps around a lot of road courses.

I like c6's and c6 s's but anyone can have one. Just sign the paper. I ve seen two other c2 on the road this year. Not counting three others that I ve seen at shows.

We pretty much all have vettes, but see the value in the f body. Zombiess has z06, helikid has a c6, benneliwang has his turbo c5.....and we all have f bodies. Why? well, when you make a lot of power, what better to hurt? a low dollar f body or a 50 k vette? As the cars get faster the cars get cheaper. Probably why my 87 camaro has the 101 mm turbo...I scrap a wall in it, big deal...I total it, big deal, I take everything that survives and get another third gen. Way better then a zo6.

Just for reference, Bone-stock my best was 11.029 @ 130.02 1/4, 7.210 @ 100.9 1/8. All done on a 1.756 60-foot & 200-feet DA. I ran consistant low 11's at 129-131 before the mods. Even at 5000ft I would still be in the bottom 12's on a decent run. That guy couldn't drive worth a crap! He didn't even leave on the green. Any competent driver behind the wheel of a ZR1 would pull that van EASILY, AWD and all.

You put a good driver behind the wheel of that car and that van would have seen taillights. A friend of mine owns a yellow ZR1 and can actually drive that thing. Wen't bottom 11's at over 130mph in stock trim. Maybe, just maybe I can pursuede him to make the trip to NV and take your money!

As a matter of fact i'm going to contact him now to see if he will chime on this discussion......
I'm gamed Jay....as long as you pay for gas. lol!!

obviously the guy in that ZR1 cant drive worth a shit. plenty of people have the money for a ZR1 or a C6Z, but with money does not come driving talent.

on a side note, we have a ZR1 owner on here now! welcome to the site!

Damn alot of you definately had a full glass of hatoraide this morning!

ForceFedC5 stop being butthurt about a vette losing and give the man props about his sick ass Van! Quit hating on any and everything, making yourself look like a real douchebag.

1320, that van is sick as hell who gives a shit what all the haters in here are saying. Major props from me for taking a fullsize van and making it competitive against the number 1 supercar in america.
