Is your Cobalt stock? If not then I think you'd beat a G8 from a roll pretty easily (not sure how the new Cobalt are from a dig, but I know the SC ones had big traction issues), but if it is then it would probably be a real good race. You did say that you beat a 2004 GTO once though, and it looked like my car was going to be about even with my dad's stock 2004 when we messed around so...
As for not being able to get a race, it's the flipside to the sleeper coin, haha.
its stock right now.
so it would be a great roll race, just like the vid!!
from a dig, it would be UGLY for me.
The t/c is as bad or worse then the s/c since 1st gear is short and comes on very hard. You simply cannot floor it....ever
darn sleepers :grumble:
i dont even get a second look
^Slap on a spoiler from an SS SC, that'll get people to notice! I know alot of people hate those spoilers, but I personally think they look pretty good.

I really like mine they are pretty quick cars. I rode in a G8 GT and thought they moved pretty good. A few mods and they are pretty respectable.

Yeah, I think with a tire this one would be able to run in the mid 13's. He said that his tune is all messed up and it's running very rich. He's going to get it properly tuned in the next couple weeks and we're gonna all go out again and see how they stack up.

there is a hi-rise for the new model.
however, i am considering going wingless.......that would probably get less attention if that is even possible!
Nice vid, g8 really drags them suckers back in on the top end.
Thanks! Yeah, the first thing I noticed about the car when I first bought it was how hard it pulls up top. I can't imagine how it will be with headers, CAI, and a tune. It definitely suprises alot of people, even in stock form.

Not sure how it would look, but I can already hear the complaints that people laugh at you when you try to race them...and then find out the joke's on them

I'm definitely going to try and make it up there Tuesday. I think that would be a great race and I know I won't be able to work on the Camaro yet.

Those were some good runs, that Buick can really move, and the Camaro is quick. Screamin that is a nice GT and looks like you guys had a lot of fun and for that I'm jealous.
The only things that want to run me are trucks . I did have a Dakota R/T (360) that wanted to run the other night, by the time my car decided what gear it wanted from 50 mph he was a car in front of me, but once it made it's decision it was over quick. So I know what you are going through having to play catch up sometimes.

Thanks, man! I hear you on the downshifting. When going from a roll I shift it down manually as far as it will go and then, as soon as I punch it, I click it over into drive and let it shift itself. Seems to work pretty well.

I love those regals like the one in the vid. I used to have one just like it with a bunch of mods. It ran 13.3 at 105 mph in 95 degree weather.
After that I added a 100 shot of nitrous to the car. I never made it back to the track with the nitrous on the car, but it moved out pretty good with the 100 shot. It would break the tires loose from a 70 mph roll.

Yeah, I can't imagine a full bolt-on supercharged Regal with a 100 shot hooking up well at all, haha. Hell, my bone stock 1999 Grand Grix GT had trouble getting out of the hole. Of course spinning at 70mph is another story!
