If an LS1 can run in the mid to high 11's and trap 123 or better it will pretty much run with or outrun a 03-07 SRT-10. I know there are a good # of cam-only cars that can do that.
Last time I ran I was a 12.3 @ 118.9 Spinning my ASS OFF (2.7 60Ft)... Spun 1,2nd & 3rd... I might go back tomorrow with the new Tire set up and shoot for my 11.7's

two things..first and formost a 119 mph trapp speed and high 11's to low 12's is exactly what you need to run dead even with a 03-06 viper in the 1/4 mile...
they average 12.0-12.3 at 118-122 mph with a few here and their in the 11.8-11.9 range..
The bone stock record is 11.5 at 124 mph...
The second thing is that I highly doubt he got a srt10 for 35K...
A great deal for a clean 2003 is 38K..40K is great for an 04..42K is great for an 05..44K is a great deal for a 06 vert...And then 48K is a great deal for a 06 coupe...
In reality a clean low mileage 2003 Viper is gonna cost you 40-43K..
Ive seen these deals of 35K ect. These are usually high milage 30K plus mile Vipers that have questionable history as far as accidents...
A prime example is my wrecked 2003 srt10....It now has 27K miles and is on sale for 35K..Looks perfect..Even has the 08 hood and ect...But in reality it's a wrecked Viper that some how didnt get totalled....

Anything in the 12's with a 500hp/3300lb car would not be considered good...in otherwords, below average. I was averaging 11.80's at 122-123 bone-stock in my SRT...A buddy of mine ran consistant 11.60-11.70's in his '06.

WHERE ALL ENTITLED TO OUR OPINIONS..I RESPECT YOURS...for what it's worth I had a supercharged V6 Fbody and H/C C5 from 1999-2006 and never came close to wrecking them in any way and all I did was race them at the strip/road course/street...Vipers are the worlds most wrecked exotic..Period..Someone wrecks one on viper alley or viperclubofamerica every week and considering that their have only been 30K Vipers made from 92-2009 thats a high ratio of wrecked vipers..Heck..it seems like every month some one at a dodge service station wrecks a brand new untitled Viper or a Viper that is in for service..They are very hard cars to drive...
But like I said..I respect your opinion..

Soooo then according to your list it is a high 11-second car, not 12-sec car like you mentioned in an earlier post. That sounds a lot more realistic, the first 11 times on the list are similar to what my car was doing bone-stock. Plus, when you create any kind of "Fast List" it really helps to post the track the run was made at as well as Temp/DA. Those are key points.
well considering those are the fastest times posted by anyone on the viper forums..I wouldnt say running a 11.9 is easy in an srt10....Those are like 15 differant drivers....Their are HUNDREDS of post about running 12.0-12.4 in their 100% stock vipers that never went on the list.....With 459 rwhp I was only able to muster a 11.9 off a 1.9 60 foot at 122 mph......That was after an arrow rebuild and aftermarket roller rockers...Most stock SRT10's hover around 440 rwhp.....Im one of the biggest viper fans their are..But I wont sugar coat shit.....If everyone could go to the track and run a 11.6-11.8 in their stock vipers the C6Z06 would never have been such a big deal...
Youve just got to understand that up until two months ago when speed freak ran that 11.5 in a stock SRT10 that the fastest stock SRT10 time in the WORLD was an 11.6....Wich means that your buddy that you say ran 11.6-11.8 dead stock was actually flirting with the 11.6 world record...Hell he's still only a 10th away from the 11.5....
Ill leave this alone now....Since to me weather 11.6 on average or 12.0 on average is still a fast stocker....
