I don't really see why everyone is so surprised by the results.

On stock tires with 492rwhp that camaro had no hope of traction at 15mph. On top of this in the first two runs the OP clearly steals the hit (you can't even hear the 3rd honk over his car).

The third run was much better, it sounded like he was ready for you that time and he hooked up. I think with no passenger the camaro would edge you out above 100.

Not trying to bash you OP, you have a very nice car and it looks like you can drive it pretty well. Thanks for posting the vid.

The WS6 sounds like a beast and the SS sounds like a lawnmower.

Both nice cars. Way to row those gears on the WS6.

60-160 ?!?!?!?! You got more balls than I do! I'm a nervous wreck driving that fast with those skinnies on the front. Had it to 145max....

its the rule of 100. if you do a roll on race you go at a speed and the it isnt done until someone hits the end speed.... or they pull serious buss lengths.

this helps to cure alot of issues with racing without a tree.
1) a minor jump can be excused because if you cant make it up over the span of 100mph and possibly 2 gear changes then it isnt gonna happen.
2) traction issues
3) big turbo slow boost build issues.

but yeah i wouldnt go that fast with skinnes on, roll racing is a way different ball game.

Looked like fun but I saw a lot of driveways and access roads. That is asking for trouble. Be safe out there, surely there are better roads?

No public road is a good road IMO, but I don't own a huge private strip either, so whadya do???? Cops are ridiculous in that county so made it quick and dirty, then took it to the house...

Good runs.

News flash to the nay sayers:

79whp advantage can go away real quick when your talking weight and traction. Its not OPs fault he picked a lighter car and saved some of that engine mod money for TIRES too (wow what a thought!).

But once again we have the shoulda, coulda, woulda crowd wanting a remote control "on paper" race forgetting that driver and what driver does with his mod money other than throw massive HP at street tires is what makes the race. Welcome to the streets people. Spend wisely and drive correctly or get yanked up by stuff thats "not supposed to win on paper".

Don't care what anyone says over the traction issues the Ws6 did a really nice job showing up the maggie over and over again. The car sounded really healthy. Just goes to prove in the real world light to light.. the dyno queens from magnacharger can't always hold their own against a good head and cam engine with some work.

Really impressed. I would love to see the camaro with heads and a cam lined up against the TA.

I think I like this guy LOL

You guys might not have to wait much longer on the head/cam project...Think that's in the works. The SS got DR's on the rear and picked up 40HP with a CAI, so I'm pretty sure he's got me beat on a high end roll. Maybe I'll still pull off a win from a dig.... Rematch anyone???

Limited access and no intersections is the "rule".

good video thanks. Sounded like your foot was down before 3rd honk, not that it would have changed the result though.
