lt1 vs 02 stang what would the out come be the lt1 has 3.73 rear end and flowmaster exhaust (97 WS.6 auto) the stang has cold air slp cat back exhaust and i believe that is it and a 5spd manual

IDK, the PI 4.6 GT's are a lot faster than the old Fox bodies, and I heard in another thread for an LT1 to pull on a slightly modded fox body, the Mustang would have to be towing something.
I'd put all my money on the Mustang. Especially from a dig. They only need like 300whp to run low 11's.

I would call it a driver / tire race. What type of tire is on the Stang and WS6? From a dig, this will matter. Tires being even, I would give the advantage off the line to the WS6; being that it's an auto and has steeper gears. From a roll, it can go either way, both cars are practically stock. Just line'em up. I wouldn't be surprised if you win, or he does.

If you GM boys know some modded Fbody is running a SOHC 2v GT with next to no mods you guys jump on that band wagon like its heading to the closest free Led Zeppelin concert. But if its a Fbody against a 4v Mustang of any sort well the thread over here is just.....
