06 GTO vs LT1 *vid* One of my friends ran a GTO the other day and I posted it on the GTO forums and the owner of the GTO was on there. So we set up a couple runs between me and him.

i'm really suprised of the runs with no nitrous, didn't expect that. Cool stuff with backing it up with a bottle fed run for comparison.

LT1's are still alive and fun. My kid just sold his 96 z28 and it had 150,000 plus miles.
Good runs. There is a Black 06 GTO just down the road from me. No play yet.

good runs! that first race seem to have that GTO reeling his ass in but the other two he held him off but no chance for the GTO on the sauce!

1st race N/A - DIG, eased into it, pulled until i clicked third, then he started gaining. 105 he was at my door.
2nd race N/A - 20 roll, he was a lil ahead of me, so I might have jumped a lil, pulled on him till 110. then I let out and he passed.
3rd race N/A -DIG, got into a lil faster, held 2 or so cars on him till 110, then let out at 145 with him closing in on my bumper
4th race N20 - DIG, 7 or so cars
If that does not sound right, please correct me

Nice camera work, hardly and bobbling. I like how he leaned out of the car to keep the GTO in the shot too.

Girlfriends can help change your mind about cars. Tell you it's time for something newer. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
Although, you have a nice newer car now. The trans am is nicer and faster. It looks like you have a nice house too. Your LT1 was really nice though.
