Its not in the street racing section because its not strictly street racing related. Topics will be about power output (dyno nubers)of various setups, track performance, street racing, etc. Its in the "Racer's Lounge"...perfect fit IMO.
Its a subforum for various reasons. The short story is that this is a tech site and we don't like to promote bench racing.Real world experience helps the community and advances the LSX platform.I don't feel that it warrants its own forum. However, there is some value to understanding what kind of power a certain H/C package will produce prior to spendibg the money, what to expect from your car at the track or what to shoot for, etc.

An $80K, 4,000lb, overpriced, unreliable, ugly, V6 automatic Nissan is not a "sick car". Its nothing more than an electronically controlled ricer mobile.
Way to make it happen, Unit. And if it sucks as bad as some have suspected, you can always shut it down now that you're an admin. But I agree that there will be some value to getting opinions before spending big money on setups and mods. Plus let's face it: we're car guys, we like to speculate on everything from hp to street race results to whether or not we'll hit that magical number at the track! It should be a fun forum AND help weed out some of these threads from the actual results sections.

Small machining work done on valves and heads... thats about it. Its all about done, and im curious as to how much she should put down. Pump gas 91 and meth! And then perhaps race gas (just for numbers)
the car is a 06 Pontiac GTO 6.0
I'd just like sum guesses as to what my power output should be in the ballpark of, given eveything ive done will support around 14lbs +-Im definetly gonna change intakes and heads eventually and k/r. I want it to be like stock when im not driving it hard so a cam is out. I'm mostly just curious if the turbos and cubes im with now are sufficient for my goals. I plan on making 750whp with what i have now, and stay like that for at least 6 months just learning the car again. I dont wanna stack on the numbers to fast without enough seat time and wreak my car!
