Default Help me spend my money

My buddy gave me a gift card to summit and I want to get something for the suspension but I don't know will be better for me. The mods are in my sig, so far I have a torque arm, LCA, and a panhard bar. I was thinking it would be ether LCA relocation brackets or adj shocks.

Thanks for the advice. Please post why you recommended ether one. Or if there is something else that I should get.

Thumbs up UMI Performance!

Hello
I would suggest if you are having any issues with traction and wheel hop. The lower control arm relocation brackets will eliminate a great deal of problems and allow you to put the power to the ground. By allowing you to adjust the rear lower control arm more parallel with the surface offering 3 settings. We have found the on mild horsepower cars get better results using the lowest hole. And we have cars running in the 9s using the weld on brackets using the middle hole due to the fact the suspension reacts better to that particular setting. Below is a link to show you what all UMI Performance has to offer!

If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help.
Thanks
Brad

I'd go with the relocation brackets.

Relocation brackets are one of the best suspension mods that you can make. They correct your control are geometry if your vehicle is lowered, they stop any wheel hop issues that you might have and they allow you to adjust your instant center for maximum weight transfer. If you decide to go the shock route your choice is going to depend on what type of driving that you do. If your heavy in to drag racing Strange or QA1's are a good choice,if its auto crossing or corner carving agx's or koni's would be the way to go. All of BMR'S products are available at summit. Here is a link to our site to see what we have and if you have any questions about which parts would be the best for you please give me a call. Our tech dept is open till 6pm est mon-fri.

I disagree w/ everyone above....but that also depends on what you want to do w/ your car.

If you are into drag racing the relocation brackets might help you more w/ traction.

If the car is a daily driver or occasionally sees some corner carving shocks will be a LOT better investment than relo brackets. I'm assuming you're thinking about KYBs for adjustability? If you go that route and are staying stock height put some Bilsteins (preferably the valving Strano sells) on the car. What are you using the car for that you need adjustability? Like Dennis said if you are looking to spend the kind of money for Konis, they are pretty much bar none one of the best mods for a F-body. Its about like turning the car from being behind someone and hoping they don't turn a corner to saying "come on b*****" I dare you to turn a corner.

relo brackets are pretty cheap and easy, not a bad investment. Are you planning on lowering? springs wouldnt be a bad idea either and then you would have more use for the relo brackets as well.

The relocation brackets are an inexpensive traction item. Shocks are great too... I guess it depends on your funds. What are you looking to spend?
