I use Strange DA shocks on all 4 corners of my drag car and I pull 60 foot times around 1.17 - 1.19 sec. Needless to say, I recommend Strange shocks for your car.

BMR sells both brands, so give us a call when you are ready to order.

Which Strange struts and shocks would you suggest for a car that is still driven on the street, but I want a good drag racing set up?

All of the shocks work, some need them other really don't and they can save some $$$ staying with a shock that suits the needs. If the check book is bottomless then always buy the best.

I like my QA1's quite fine and I can't wait to get the R series on the front and see what it does at the track.

The single adjustable Strange shocks would be the ones that i would recommend. They are the best shock for the money and hold up well for a street/strip car. We ahve very competitive prices on both the Strange and QA1 shock. Here is a link to our site. If you have any questions please give me a call.

wat spring rate would you recomend on the front? the car will be about 3300 without me in it. and most of the weight reduction is in the front of the car.

If the car is going to be driven on the street i would go with the 325 lb springs. This is a good spring for a street strip car. If its a weekend warrior/strip car the 300 lb ones are a good choice. Let me know if you have any other questions.

so the lighter the spring rate the better the weight transfer?

Your spring choice is going to be determined by the plans you have for your car. To light a spring will not support the front end weight correctly. To stiff a spring will make the cars ride to hard and make it feel bouncy. Spring rate for a drag car will be alot different than the spring rate for a corner carver. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Go with strange DA if you have the money to buy them. Otherwise, SA will be fine. I perfer having the extra adjustability in front. I have singles in back. There are some very fast cars running on SA shocks.

If you plan to stick to that weight then go with the 325lb.
