Default Don't buy Generic Struts :)

I know I should know better but. . . . I tried all now. . .

I really had no money when I had to cut my strut up to take the top nut off.

So. . . This is what I know now from tried experience. . .

Monroes are total crap looking things. . No perch, so you have to transfer your own from the deCrapons. . . Yeah, real nice. . .

And of course the Gabriel Ultras. . . One, the Eibach spring will not fit on the POS purch. . . 2nd the Top jounce stop is not even attached. . . Fell right off during the install. . .

I still have no money, so if anyone has some decent deCrapons I can buy PM me. . .

Or I will be broke as a joke and get some Adjustables for the front.

A decent stock decrapon replacement is the KYB GR-2. Sure it ain't a performance shock but heck of a lot better than the decrapons. Plus, I got all 4 for less than $200

I'd rather save some and get those than put decrapons back on my car.

So what cost you more? The price of all the shocks you bought and removed + the ones you'll be buying next?? Or a set of decent Bilstien HD's?

Lesson learned.. the cheaper option is sometimes more expensive than the higher priced more reliable option.

I have some take-off deCarbon's.... Less than 1500 miles on them.

$75 for the front pair, $100 for all 4.

I broke down. . . . . . . And bought adjustables for the front. . . . . I guess I will eat Romen for a week or 2. . . . .

Got air shocks for the back. . . . I like being able to raise the rear end of my car a bit.

Like I said, I did KYB AGX's in the front air's from VatoZone in the back.

The front of the car does not even feel like it is the same car any more. It feels 100% better, seriously.

The rear feels a lot better also with which ever PSI I have in the shocks. No more clunks or groans from the back of my car. They do not feel as good as the fronts of course, they are a bit bouncy. But it is way nice to be able to adjust the rear ride height.

How much did you end up spending total then for all the shocks you tried and removed and the ones you have on your car now?

250 Bucks, 185 for the KYB AGX's and 65 for the VatoZone SkyJackers. I returned the garbage shit piles they call struts back to VatoZone and got my cash back.

It was just a pain in the balls. . . . This is really a great combo for the cash. AGX's in the rear would be nice but I was really afraid of seeing sag from the Eibach springs.
