So did you decide to do the vette upgrade?

Will the Z51 and and the later Z06 calipers work with trackbirds brackets? I have the part number for the two piston calipers. I didn't know about the other ones.

Also, does anyone know what the rear caliper part numbers are, I was about to post a new thread when I saw this one.

Nah, I didn't go for the 'vette upgrade. I was so close to doing it, I had the relocation brackets and everything. (Which is why I have this part number list) But at the end, I didn't think it was worth the money/hassle in my setup. I will be looking towards Force 10's SSBC 4-Piston direct replacement calipers

I am pretty sure that the brackets will fit with the C6 Z06 calipers, but don't quote me on that. The rear C5 calipers are 99% identical to the LS1 F-Body Calipers. I think the only difference is the offset of the Caliper to coincide with the offset of the rotor.

It's a non-sponsor. Just google SSBC. The kit is about 1100 bux and comes with all necessary hardware. It even comes with pads, rotors and stainless steel lines. I'm going to ask for a price on just the Calipers to lessen the cost.

after seeing the SSBC calipers in person I'm of the opinion that they alone with 12 inch stock rotors would be sufficient for most people including those who open track their cars. The bolts that are used on the calipers look to make a stronger caliper than a cast caliper which I have read can melt under racing heat.

Cool, I wonder how much the calipers alone cost?

they make a couple different types- they have a 2 piece held by bolts and nuts and a one piece that is cast. The one peice seems to be the direct replacement caliper and IIRC it has 3 pistons.
