Default One of the fastest LT1 Stock convertibles gone. Hurricane IKE and Looters... Must see

Hey guys... We really need some support here. I bought this car for my brother and we have brought this car up to run a 11.31@ 121 stock bottom end and a 150 shot, tune, built tranny, 4:10's and stock suspention and long tubes..... but in September came along and we live on the gulf coast 1 hour south of Houston. We built a 396 for the car and had to leave for the Hurricanne... well... lets just say the car was not the same after the Hurricanne... please watch this Video and show your support for one of the baddest Stock motor Convertible Camaros out there..RIP The Riddler. Contributions, and details will be on the comments part of the video. If any one would like to contribute.... info will be in the Comments section under Bad Boy Racing user... Please watch...

That must have been some adventure. Hats off to you for being the bigger man about the wheels and sun roof thing. I would have put my steel toes on. The tree thing I could have lived with...but to add insult to injury!?!?

Well, I don't understand why it was a "total loss" for the insurance company, unless there was SERIOUS water damage and the motor was shot :\ The car looked to be in easy fixing state. I assume you could've have proved the rims were yours if you called the cops though huh? If not, I would've taken a 10lb sledge to each rim's spoke

So what's the story with the 396?

i think they just go by how much repairs would cost compared to how much the car is worth, and lt1 isnt worth much. hell even the ls1 f-bodys lost a ton of value

damn, someone steals my rims, no question Id steal them back, plus add some damage. Thats bull crap, just wait about 1 or 2 years after everything is in the past and get a gas soaked rag and stick in the gas tank and light it.

Wow.....sorry to see that, man. I'm amazed about the part where he found the guy with the rims though and didn't do shit.

Same here, but hey as much as I hate to see a very fixable car sent to a salvage yard I guess if he's happy with his new car its all good.

I would have gotten your rims back from the kid and kicked his ass, but other than the convertable top and 1/4 panel, doesnt look like it was too bad

Why didn't you buy it back and fix it? The reason the insurance claimed it a total loss is that the value on LT-1 cars has plummetted and it's cheaper for them to loss it out and write you a cheap check. Should have bought it back and at least parted it our or better yet fixed it back up. Just my opinion.

sorry to hear this happened to you, but thats kinda greedy to ask others to help you out when it was just a freak accident. im sure other people lost many things too but to sak for contributions to get a car rebuilt is kinda just....idk! good luck with it tho!
