Default My blacked out & debadged 2010 camaro

ever since i seen the production versions of these 2010 camaros . one thing has bothered me a lot about them. and its the chrome trim rings around the taillamps and the backup lamp location. so with that in mind i did to this car what i did to my red 93 . i tinted all the lamps including blacking out the reverse lights. the trim rings were epoxy coated in ppg black & concept clear. so with that said let me know what you think.!!

Looks sweet! Gold chevy emblem sticks out like a sore thumb. Also, would consider a smoked license plate cover..

Performance plans for it?

thanks guys! the emblem is next. im going to have the outer border red with the center black. as for the plate im going to take me extra to the body guy for paint. it will be shot in black with the letters/numerals shot in silver with reflective crushed diamond for night visibility. as for mods the next ones are on hold for now till my detail business gets off the ground. just been too slow to spend any money

You know that's illegal, right? You can't alter the license plate in any way. I think you'd get busted quicker for doing what you said than you would putting the smoked lens on (which is also technically not legal.)

Looks great The trim rings look 1000% better. Chevrolet puts a gold bowtie on everything they make. The plate idea sounds cool, but the popo's will get you for that quick. It would be okay at the GTG's, etc. Just not while the car is on the road.

At first I thought you were talking about the 70-73 Camaro but I guess since I like them so much I didn't see the 3/4 of a car sitting over top of it! Yeah so what he said...

the emblem is pretty easy to do. i did that to the grill emblem of my colorado. i removed it and shot it black. looks tons better than the gold.

nice one-off job on trim!

i saw a handful of 5th gens in the state fair car show on saturday, but never took that indepth of a look at them. do you have any before pics of the chrome rings, esp the reverse lights for a before/after comparision.
