royal purple maxfilm

ok, so they came out with this new aerosol lubricant and they list Advance Auto parts and O'Reilys as dealers for it, BUT, I call them and ask for this maxfilm and describe it as being in the same section as WD-40 and 656 and they have no freaking clue about it. I have also been to Advance and O'Reilys and I do not see it.


Has anyone run into it yet? I was curious about it as was my dad so I was looking at getting 2 cans to check it out.

I'm a 656 fan, and the only place I can find it is in Bass Pro shops here in Charlotte. (besides ordering it online from somewhere)

well, royal purple emailed me about it. Apparently its not new. They have apparently had it out for at least several years.

I've used it in place of WD40 since about 2001, works great....I think I'm on my 2nd or 3rd can.

where do you buy it? I had to buy mine from RPM oils online, no store around me had it
