| Front & Rear Cover Alignment Tool I have a Kent Moore Cover aligment tool I am borrowing from a local chevy dealer, I believe it is some 400+ dollars to buy from them.
Gauging interest in who would buy one if I duplicated something very close to this, BC i have Autocad, and access to a CNC machine, They would be good quality for sure, but I need to know if there is any interest before i spend time doing something like this.
Cost would be around 75 dollars including the same bolts that kent moore includes... Itd look and function the same as this: One side would align front cover, using the inner holes to seat the cover flush with the pan, and flip it over and itd do the same for the rear cover.

| Are these tools good for the LS2?
Looking to do a rebuild on mine early next year so would be interested if you make these up. (If you can post to the UK that is... )
Cheers |

| I'd be interested. I've been meaning to buy the GM tool but didn't want to spend the cash on it. Keep us posted.

| If you copy it, be very careful about patient infringement!

| Ok, so copy it but make it a little bigger, thicker, better, etc...
For $75, I'd be in for one too.

| Absolutely. I'd totally donate 75 bucks for you to play around with the CNC if I could get a chunk of scrap that accidentally served the same function as that tool.
Or...call it your "CNC activities sustainment fund". Even your "Buy stuff to put in my food hole fund." |

| Thanks for the ideas on what to call this whole operation. I had a guy draw it up on CAD but thats as far as I have got. Have been super busy though, 75 dollars is close to breaking even though for sure. |

| Well...I'm not one to voluntarily pay more for something than I need to, but make sure you don't lose your backside on this. |
