request username change

Hello, sorry to bother you guys, but I am very new to using forums at all and I didn't realize what I was doing when registering. I would like to change my username to "perch" instead of using my name.

RE, the moderators aren't very keen on changing user names here. You've been a member since 2008 and have a 0 post count. Why not register a new screen name and just drop the old one. Re-use your avatar and sig...

yeah, just re register. your not an established member with oodles of posts so it wouldnt make any difference.

How do I get around the email thing? It tells me there is already a username using this email? Can I "un register"?

Nope, but you can use any-old address and change it once you re-register.
