Testing the water, 99 Z28 LQ4 6.0 M6
Year: 1999
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $6500
Mileage: 170000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): FL
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
The car was originally 4L60E auto, converted to T-56 from a wrecked 2000.
The engine is an LQ4 6.0L iron block, don't recall how many miles were on the engine before. About 20k miles on the engine since rebiuld.
I went through the entire engine before it went in, replaced the rod bolts with ARP-2000 units, a new timing chain, a blueprinted LS6 oil pump from Texas Speed, and also a 2003 LS6 cam. I originally planned on doing a turbo setup, but never got around to it. Have the PCM tuned with Hp-Tuners which comes with the car.( Unlocked for all 99 Z28/WS6)
The heads were completely redone as well, new valve job and resurface, along with some PAC-1218 valvesprings.
Car has SLP lid, a K&N, pacesetter longtube headers and hooker aerochamber exhaust.
The transmission was rebuilt and clutch has about 15k miles on them.
Pro 5.0 shifter. Rearend is original and stock with 2.73 gears, differential still works great.
The car is lowered with a Eibach Prokit and 02 SS wheels (tires one year old). Body is stock except a VFN ultra Z hood. Also has Hotchkis subframes professionally welded in.(Really stiffins the car)
Car has all the fluids replaced with synthetic and changed when appropriate.
The car needs a driver seat but besides that the interior is great, new carpet put in two years ago. Every window tinted in the car, even the windshield(helps alot in the summer). Pioneer CD/MP3/DVD/USB player in dash.
The air conditioner compressor and dryer were replaced last summer, AC works awesome and the heater as well.
Overall the car is all there, only problems are the drivers seat, the dent on the passenger side, and the paint on the back is a bit dull kinda like the clearcoat wore off.
Tell me what you think the car is worth.
