And I got a buddy that has a buddy who knows a buddy that can read where it says OBO. Guys if you're not interested in the car then just move on to the next post. Around here that's about what they go for.

It's just dirty, it's in pretty good shape for being 12 years old.

Not trying to start **** at all...but if you are going to try to ask a bit of a high price for a car with this many miles, maybe clean it up to show off the good features? If it doesn't look good in pictures, chances are it won't look that great in person. GLWTS, just giving a worthless opinion.

I'd just let the guy price his car. I've seen some cars in that range sell for 6k, but just last week I saw an '02 with 135k on it sell for $9k. Many dealers and private sellers are still asking $10k for ls1s with around 100k on them. In my area they are selling around $1500-2000 higher than a few states south...it just depends. Let the market decide.

I'm hoping to get some clean pics tomorrow. On autotrader there are only 14 V8 stick shift firebirds within 500 miles of me, and the cheapest is 13k with 96k miles. Looking at the other pricing on here I don't see how you guys are coming up with the high price? And it does say obo.

FWIW: when I bought my car in 2008 in EXACTLY the same condition; I paid a little bit more than the OP's asking price and mine had 118k on the clock when I took a hold of the keys to my new ride. $8200 obo seems like a fair asking price to me; but each his own.

Free bump for ya buddy!
