1996 Camaro Z28 /w 383 Stroker, Built Trans, All Mods
Year: 1996
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $7999
Mileage: 152200
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): OK
Color: Black
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has other engine
I've finally decided to sell my Z28 that I've owned since 2003. I blew the stock LT1 in it in 2009, and have since dumped way too much money into it. I have all of the receipts for everything. The engine and transmission have less than 500 miles on them.
Specs:
Engine: 383 stroker with Scat cast iron crank, forged rods and pistons
Heads/cam: Lloyd Elliot 2 heads, LE custom grind 230/238 .565/.565 111 LSA
Intake: Lingenfelter CAI, 1LE elbow, 58mm throttle body, Lloyd Elliot ported/polished intake
Exhaust: Pacesetter coated longtubes, no cats, custom y-pipe, Flowmaster 80 series muffler
Transmission: A4 Finishline Stage 4 with Yank SS 3600 stall converter
Rear end: 12-bolt with 3.73 gears
Suspension: Strut tower brace, LCA's, Spohn Torque Arm
Other: 1.6 RR's, 38 lb. Racetronix injectors, Racetronix fuel pump, transmission cooler, throttle body bypass, removed air pump, removed EGR, custom tune by Ion at madtuner.com, LT4 knock module, LS1 aluminum driveshaft, ARP head bolts, ARP engine bolts, new timing chain, new spark plugs, new plug wires, new O2 sensors, new battery, new alternator, new power steering pump, and other stuff I'm forgetting. It's basically all new under the hood.
I have all of the receipts for everything. Also, I have a set of chrome ZR1 rims (9.5x17 in front & 11x17 in back) with Nittos that I'll include for an extra $500, otherwise it comes with the stock rims and regular tires that have 80% tread.
The posted pictures are from a few years ago since I haven't taken any in a while. I can take new pics if requested, though. I would say the interior is 8.5/10 and the body/paint is a 7/10. You can see more old pics at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/542885.
Known Issues:
- The dashboard is cracked in the front right corner where it meets the glove box area. It's probably 4" x 2" in a triangle shape.
- The AC system needs a full recharge.
Price: $7,999 as-is.
Edit: The ZR1s have been sold.

Thanks. Those pics are a little old but it's in nearly identical condition; it's in the same condition it was in when I bought it almost 7.5 years ago, but now with a few more horses. I've always been meticulous about keeping it clean, not to mention stock-looking. I detailed the interior last weekend and will probably do the engine and exterior this coming weekend. I'll take/post some new pics if the weather is nice.
