Thanks. I know how it is when buying one of these cars which is why I am up front and honest about any questions a buyer might ask. Also, when it comes to a test drive, I let them take it out for as long as they want (with me in it) for them to be comfortable that it's a solid car. They can look it over all they want, etc. I agree though, and also it seems like everyone is selling right now and there are a ton of good deals which really makes it a buyers market.

If it was allready on it different story. Not in the mood of playing around with a steering wheel/airbag connections.

Why would you even tell the insurance guy it doent have the airbag on it lol? It is a 22mm nut for the steering wheel, and 2 connectors for the airbag. 4 torx hold the airbag onto the wheel. If you cant handle this you don't even need this type of car.

Bump for seller

Not to derail.

Simple car is inspected prior to insuring it. I just dont tell my guy "hey I bought a car put it on my policy". My statefarm rep inspects, evals my cars and then writes my policy for the price of the car I want not by KBB. Even if I did swap it out is anybody going to assure me the air bag will deploy? No right? This is why my guy stated it would cost more on my policy. Trust me on this I had 6 of these TYPES of cars. I can handle them.
