Build Thread
https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...72-malibu.html

1972 Malibu 350 I purchased out of Kentucky 6 years ago. The car was very original but I have modded it for performance and practicality. It showed 96,000 miles on the original speedo and might be original but it really doesnt matter. Car runs great and gets great gas mileage and attention. Took it to the track once and got a 12.98 at 114 out of it with a 2.2 60'. Gets at least 20 MPG.

I have 3 build sheets for the car. 2 from the interior and one from the gas tank. This was a customer order car and about as close to and SS 350 you could get. L48 350 4bbl, G94 3.31 12 bolt G80 posi, A51 bucket seats, f40 suspension, M20 4 Speed, NK4 Sport steering wheel, PS, PB, NJ9 Lighting group.

From what I have been told, it has been painted once in the original code 68 Midnight Bronze Metallic laquer. I purposely sought after a car with old paint because its not hiding anything and nothing is coming through. There is no rot anywhere but plenty of chips and paint checking. Overall it looks very nice thought.

The interior appears to be very original. I say this because I found 2 build sheets under the passenger side carpet when I did the tremec install. I restored an SS dash and it looks great. The AM radio is not hooked up.

I have 3 build sheets and all the original parts that were removed.

I can vouch for the condition of this car, it is very nice.

As stated there is some checking in the paint but 100% rust free and still looks nice.

Interior is super clean/nice as well, I would love it for my car, lol.

Jim, thanks for vouching for my car. The car looks good but i'm not scared to drive it anywhere. The car draws a ton of attention.

If anyone wants to go for a ride, just pm me.

I updated the link. It has factory power disks up front and drums in the rear.
