02 Trans Am WS6 25k Miles 6 Speed Lots of Work Been Done! Sale/Trade $10900
SOLD !!I have a 2002 WS6 (Ram Air) LS1 with Tremec 6 speed trans, has GM 706 heads been ported and polished, LS6 Intake and throttle body that has been port matched, cammed, full SLP exhaust with electric cut out, has new NOS kit never been used, alot of BMR parts. Car is black with black leather, T-tops, only has 25k miles. Now for the bad the engine is making a noise, I traded for it a few weeks ago and as I started home the noise started. The car has alot work already done to it, plus this is the last year of the Trans Am and this one has really low miles and with the WS6 package it will bring top dollar when its fixed, but I really need a 3/4 or 1 ton truck to pull my camper. I'm looking to sale or trade for a truck. Im asking $10900 LOWERED TO 10,000, FOUND A TRUCK TO BUY SO I NEED IT GONE,MAKE SOME OFFERS, PLEASE NOTHING CRAZY ! , even if the car needs 2k spent on it you will still have a last year WS6 with 25k miles thats quicker than a Vette for less than $14000 .NADA values go from $12700 (rough trade in) to $17700 (clean retail). I can send pics or will upload pics to this ad soon. I also have a 1990 Chevy 3500 (dually) Extended Cab 4x4 350 with a 4 speed that I can add to the right trade.Call or text 256-295-5469 or email. Reason: Reduce Price
That 1990 Chevy 3500 (dually) Extended Cab 4x4 350 with a 4 speed sounds like a mighty fine truck to pull your camper with. Are you sure you don't regret buying the TA because of the motor noise?

what kind of noise, has it been diagnosed? does it run and drive good still? is it from the lower half of the motor, ie- piston slap or rod or top like lifters or something of that nature?

is it a real ws6? it does not appear to be one because of the wheels and there is no badge on the bumper, looks like one one slaped a hood on there. Can you take a picture of the rpo codes on the door

Its kinda a soild knock sound, kinda sounds like its from the pass side head, but I dont know what would make this sound from the head.

As far as I know it is a real WS6, yes it does have the older style wheels, the badge for the rear bumper is in the glove box ( think the previous owner was going for the blacked out look) I'll try to get a pic of the rpo posted.

I just walked outside and look on the rpo sticker in the door jam and yes WS6 is listed right there on it. Thanks !
