Default FS: Bad to the bone 710rwhp 02 Blown ECS elec.blue Z06, forged HKE LS6-$29,900

Already priced to sell price of $30,900 reduced 2,000 to $28,900 for fast sale, as I just bought a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner (440) and have no room for 2 toys right now.

First $28,900 takes her home! (deal of the century here guys)!

The last few years I have been getting more and more into the classic muscle car scene and I think the time has come to part with my pride and joy ECS 710rwhp Procharged 2002 Z06, Elec Blue, with its completely forged 347 LS6 engine, built by one of the very best LS builders in the Country, Erik Koenig, of HKE Enterprises out of Houston, TX. I am pricing this to sell and asking $30,900 for this incredible machine and lowballers, dreamers, tirekickers, need not apply. Get a modern vette that will spank a new ZR1 for $100,000 less.

Have dyno sheet and most documentation on build up of car and car dynoed at 710rwhp (835 horsepower at the crank) and 562rwtq, and car is 100% reliable, scary fast, and has been meticously maintained and not raced at all with the current set-up. I built this car for the street/highways and have not taken down the 1/4 mile since the forged engine went in 2 years ago. Blown C5s identical to mine have run in the 9s with less power than my Z is making. The car has been professional built by one of the best LS tuners in Chicago, Powerhouse Performance, who know this car like the back of their hand, and was dyno tuned by Speed, Inc., huge well known LS tuner in Chicago area, and running East Coast Supercharging (ECS) complete centifugal supercharger kit, Level 5 RPM Z06 tranny (best that $ can buy) and best battle proven clutch out there, the McCloud twin disc street clutch with adjustable master cylinder.

The car just turned over 40,000 miles and has less than 8000 miles on forged LS6 engine, less than 7000 miles on Twin Disc McCloud Clutch and approx. 10,000 miles on Level 5 RPM Level V Z06 transmission.

I am the second owner of this Blown Z and bought it 5 years ago this December, when car had 12,800 miles on it. Car has never been in ANY accident and had never been repainted except for the MCM style fiberglass Ecklers hood. Body is stock except for ACI rear bolt on spoiler and MCM style hood. Car has usual small rock chips on the front end from normal driving and really no other significant scratches or cosmetic issues. Car's interior is in excellent condition.

Here are over 40 pics. taken of my car last week on November 8, 2009, and as you can see the car is in excellent condition, inside and out. This car has been meticously maintained by me and has been adult driven and not abused at all.

http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/22695532

Click on each picutre a second time if it does not come up clear the first time.

Here are the specs. on the car that I have over $70,000 invested into:

1. Forged 347ci LS6 engine built by Erik Koenig of HKE enterprises. Forged Engine has less than 8000 miles and runs incredible and has no known mechanical issues.

2. 9.57 compression ratio on forged LS6 engine ,with Forced Induction custom Wiseco Piston, Callies Comp Star Rods, LS6 block, Caddy Racing lifters, TEA Stage II LS6 Heads (flow right up there with Trick Flow 215 heads) and comp blower cam 224/230, .581/.588 lift, 114+2 LSA.

3. Complete East Coast Supercharging (ECS) custom fuel system.

4. Complete ECS D1 8-Rib Procharger making 16/17 lbs of boost with 60lb Mototron Injectors, with large ECS single intercooler set-up. D1 Procharger head unit was just completely rebuilt and refurburished by ATI Procharger this past March 2009, about 3000 miles ago.

***As most know, East Coast Supercharing, is certainly the King of the Hill (certainly in the top 2) when it comes to offering the most complete, battle tested, performance results orientated, centrifugal supercharging kits for C5s, and my Z is running their complete D1SC Procharger kit, 8 rib brackets (never had any belt issues whatsover in 4 years with there kit) and $2,000 custom fuel system.

5. Kooks 1 3/4 Headers, x-pipe, B&B Bullet Exhaust.

6. ECS alky/methanol kit that was added for safety only, car was tuned off the alky and used for added protection, cooler IAT temps, and to defend against getting a bad tank of gas.

7. Completely built RPM Level 5 M12 Z06 transmission, with approx. 10,000 miles on it, and Hurst short throw shifter.

8. Twin Disc McClound street clutch (hold power great and incredible clutch) with less than 7,000 miles on it.

9. DTE Strut Brace.

10. Stock 3.42 LS6 rear, stock brakes and stock suspension.

11. OEM polished aluminun Z16 Z06 rims in great shape from a 2004 commerative Z16 2004 Z06, with Toyo R888s tires in rear (about 3500 miles on them and incredible street tire) and Nitto 555 performancce tires on front with lots of tread life left.

12. Bolt in removable hardbar with racing harness seatbelt for driver's side only.

13. Car comes with a $250 professionaly made car show sign that stands up on the ground with pics of the car and listing of all high performance modifications for car shows.

Not looking for any trades, would be looking for a cash sale to free up money for my next classic muscle car that i have located and want to buy.

Lowballers need not apply, this car is an incredible machine that will spank a new ZR1, and was built with the best high performance components that money can buy and can be driven cross country.

Car is located in west suburbs of Chicago and only pm me if you are truely interested, have the $ for something like this in the range of my asking price and don't need to sell something b/f buying my car. I have been a corvette forum member for over 8 years now, have over 16,500 posts, and several of the Chicago guys would be able to personally vouch for my car. I have owned 4 C5s, had them all professionally built for mega-perforamnce, and have alot of knowledge on how to build a car like this the right way and that is exactly how this car was built, with alot of research, thought, time and money behind it.

Wow, great price! I would even consider selling my stock mint 02 EB Z for this. Something worth considering.

Yes, we NOW have video folks taken today on a nice suuny late fall day!

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_lis...69A8B356E3F425

The various videos show a walk around of the car both with the engine off and the car idling from behind with a few little revs. We also have some video of the car moving in action but nothing too crazy at all as there was not enough room to open her up.

Also, the moving footage of the car was taken with the car being walked out of the hole and with very easy shifting at only about 45000 rpms, where the car is making about 450rwhp, and maybe 5000 rpm max at one point or two, but it gives you a good taste of my blown Z in action, and you shift her at 6800 rpm, where she is making 710rwhp, no doubt the car would be smoking the tires in the first four gears with the cooler ground temps of about 50 degrees!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention my asking price on the car of $30,900 is FIRM, as the car is priced to sell and as most know I should be asking around $36,900 for a car built like this, this is a solid RELIABLE performer, whose engine was built by the one of the very best LS engine builders in the county, and with the best components (tranny, clutch, fuel system etc, etc that $ can buy)!

Price reduced to sell fast-first $29,900 or best reasonable offer takes her home!

I just pulled the trigger and bought that classic muscle car I wanted to get. Since I can't justify keeping both cars right now, and knowing that next year sometime I will get back into the vette scene with a C6 Z06, I am reducing the price for a fast sale, realizing this is the worst time to be selling something like this.

If she don't sell within a month or two, then I will pull it off the market, and work a little harder and and either end up keeping it, or relist it the spring market for several thousand dollars more.

For recent video on the car taken last weekend see post #33 above.

I am not interest in any TRADES as I need $ to pay for new toy so don't ask!

This is truely a Steal of a Deal, on a car built with the best components that money can buy, drives like stock until you plant your foot in it, and has been nothing but BONE STOCK RELIABLE!. :yesnod:

My loss is your gain!

For those buyers who are DEAD serious and have money in hand, I can be reached 7 days a week on my business cell, at 312-259-8410, and can answer any questions, etc. Best time to call is in the evenings from 7:00 PM as late as 11:30 CST (but usually can be reached easily).

Please don't call if your dreaming, have something to trade, haven't received you wife's permssion to buy, do not have the $ lined up or need to sell something else first.

Keep in mind how aggessive the car sounds on the video with the B&B Bullet Exahust can be easily changed by simply putting on stock Z06 or any other more quiet exhaust. If I end up keeping the car I will probably put back the stock Z06 exhaust (which I would trade for) as I have gone very aggressive sounding the last 2 seasons and would not mind flying under the radar a bit more. Car would still sound AWESOME with stock Z06 exhaust on!

Let me remind you guys that although my Z is running ECS' alky/methanol kit and has a brand new alky pump on it, the car was tuned OFF the alky, and I run alky just as a safeguard against getting a bad tank of gas as alky allows you to run higher octane levels, and also benefits a supercharged car by cooling down the air temps. that goes into the supercharger.

Now with this extremely stout forged engine many people would tune the car on the alky/methanol, allowing you to advance timing several degrees and making a significant increase in power in both horsepower and torque.

As the car sits it makes more power than you will ever put down to the ground on the street, and I never saw a need to get silly and really turn up the wick and tune the car more aggressively since it is running methanol, but power should easily be in the 750 to 760 rwhp if tuned on the methanol with a very significant increase in torque also!

I think you should wait until next year to sell her...I swear i'm not just saying that because i'll have money then. LOL!!

I can say in all honesty that that's the sweetest C5Z I've ever seen!! I'm bitter as hell right now because that's exactly what I want, just a year too soon. And when I say exactly, I mean down to every nut & bolt, same color/mods/hood/spoiler, EXACTLY what I want!! Part of me has my fingers crossed that this thing doesn't sell, that way I'd have a chance.!

I say this very hesitantly, but good luck with the sale!!
