Up for sale is my 69 442. It was a barn find and is 100% original and number's matching. It has it's original running big block 400 olds and turbo 400 trans. with the 12 bolt olds rear. Factory ac car also, and all of the ac components are present and they all function. The car is believed to have
23,XXX original miles, due to the documentation that I have. The car has no brakes whatsoever. It was last parked for good in 1996 due to this problem, and was never fixed. To be totally honest I have not had the time in the last 3 months since I've owned it to check it out. I have driven it down the road(very carefully!!) and it runs great and shifts through all gears and makes no noises or anything. All guages and lights and radio function as they should-even the clock in the tic-toc-tach works! I am the third owner, and can document the original owner, as it has spent its whole life here in Cent. IL. The body is very decent, as is the chassis. There is rust behind the rear wheelwells, but none above them. The left front fender has rust through at the bottom behind the wheelwell. There was one dime sized hole in the frame that was fixed after I bought it and is a non-issue. no sagging or anything like that. floorpans and trunk pans are clean. I am asking $9500 or best offer for the car. I would also consider trades for a LSX car or maybe a modded LT1 car if it was super nice. I prefer camaros over firebirds, and will probably not trade up, and would really like some cash back.
The car does need a Complete restoration, and is one of those cars that deserves it. The car is located in Central Illinois.
