Default transmission fluid type?

could somebody answer this quick is it dexron III atf or Dexron VI atf i need to pick some up tranny is going back in tonight it's an m6 by the way

i like my syncromesh way smother then dex but cost $10 a qourt but if u are getting dex use regular dont use synthetic

last i checked syncromesh ate up the syncros

Synchromesh. Get the pennzoil brand at most auto parts stores. The t56 was actually made with it in mind. Made mine shift smoother to boot. Find it in the gear oil section, not the trans/motor oil section
