first off, those arent HID projectors they are cheap ones that are meant for halogens (yes they are different). also im not fond of all of the extra crap, like LEDs and halos. If mine end up with LEDs itll be Audi style, with a white strip of them under the projectors.

Nope. I did seal off the backs, but its ugly. no more pics til i have the other projector in there and i start the front portion.

theres two parts to installing projectors. the rear needs to be secured. I could stop at that (like many people do, and like i did on my last car) or you can finish them by covering all of the ugliness, like in cars that come with projectors, like for example a C6. the fiberglass covers just hide all of the ugly housings and mounting surfaces.

oh ok. i noticed on your other car you can see the housing? sticking out... so that will be covered and just the bulb will be showing? is that what you mean?

Yeah it is supposed to took just like the C6 headlights where everything is covered and fiberglassed then painted to match the car.

Dave you should open up shop makin these. Once I get a new place use my garage for brake and suspension installs plus dave makin custom headlights and tail lights, dude there ya go man. LOL.

heres the write-up:

damn your on a roll... what are you going to do with the clear cover itself? our plastic headlight covers suck balls, even when you sand them and try to polish they just don't look clear clear and clean

the cover will go back on once its all done. im going to polish the hell out of it, then clear coat it.

Paint it with a slight tinit of red dave.... like a really light dusting so you notice the color matching, the cover that is... Sorry nevremind this I had a sudden ricer moment, finished continue on..
