everytime i try updating it on myphone.. my itunes download thingy says its been timed out.. and i try again and samething.. I wonder if its my wireless internet!..

Yep. Gotta go find a way around it then. Since the update my 3g aircard has had slow connections. I wonder how much extra data this puts through their infra.

hmm, Thought so.
Can you update your iPhone without connecting it to iTunes? It wants to connect to iTunes and put those songs on the iTunes Playlist. Thing is, I have songs on my iPhone but not my iTunes (Too lazy to make the playlist all over again).

Yeah it's an up date does not have to sync. If you synced from a friend comp you can dl ipodshare and take the songs off the iphone
