125,xxx miles currently on the body... 6k on engine/tranny
the parts of the car that could use some TLC...
1. Dash pad is cracked
2. Antenna needs replacing
3. Crack in bottom of front bumper. (need to look under the car to see it)
4. Stripes are old and need replacing...
5. Paint is about a 7.5 our of 10. White is super easy so... It could definately use a good waxing/claybar.
As far as maintenance goes, this car has always used nothing but mobile 1... 5w30/10w30. I have ALL paper records in a huge folder.
The car also has a $2000 LoJack system installed on it.
It's been to the 1/8th mile track once, and 1/4 mile track once... both times on the stock drivetrain years ago. Those who know me, know I baby the shit out of this car.
Car runs great with no problems cept for holding idle at cold start. Once you hold the throttle for around 15-20 seconds though, it holds idle just fine. This might just be the nature of having a modded car.
Unless you really really really really really really really really really really, have to sell your car, don't. I sold mine, and I put a lot of work in it, and I miss it everyday. I remember reading your post about finding work. Is that the reason you need to sell it? If so tough it out just a bit longer, unless your in the red zone, with your finances. But I wouldn't sell, looks very nice.

KNN intake and tune are on the way.
last time I checked birds eat snakes.
i'm with these guys...you'll never get what you put into it. Keep it man....unless you REALLY REALLY need to get rid of it......and if you need to, part it out and go back to stock first.
Keep it as long as you can. Also taking into account how long it might take to sell it before you NEED to sell it. I would part it out before I sell the whole car. If you part out the car you can get from 85%-45% of the price of the part vs 3%-18% when it is installed on the car. Not to mention it is harder to sell becasue there is a smaller market for modded cars because everyone has there own taste.

running some numbers... seems like you have about 7-8K worth of parts to sell!!! thats counting your motor/tranny so you would have to buy another motor/tranny plus you'll keep your car
well no one is throwing a price out there, so i guess i'll take the reigns. blue book says 7,650. obviously that's retarded, but let's add the 8k worth of parts, minus $500 to fix all the bad stuff, and we get $15,150

its worth around 15K to someone who appreciates all the aftermarket done...
to an average shmoe who looks at the mileage and things like that, about 8 grand...

This saying is repeated over and over... "you never get back what you put into modding a car." Or at least, 9 times out of 10, you hardly ever will.
Other then that, all of the good advice has basically already been given by others. Unless you really, really have to sell the car I would just hold onto it. If you start getting to the point where you know you HAVE to make some money, part it out, then sell the car as a stocker. It would be more profitable and make selling the car easier.
But to answer your question...hlaalu did the research on the numbers, and I highly doubt you'd get 15K for your car in this economy. Its not that its not worth it to the right person, its just the fact of how things are.
