Exclamation 99 Firehawk

Hi, i have been looking at a is a 6spd. firehawk for sale in florida and was wondering if you think that the price is worth it. The person selling it wants $9,500 which i think seems reasonable considering its a firehawk, however the car has 166,000 miles on it which is way up there. I looked at the car and test drove it today. I am no expert at all(which is why i came to you guys) but the car looks very clean on the outside you cant even tell it has that many miles on it. When I popped the hood to my suprise the engine looked even cleaner. The car sounds like it runs fine and when i drove it, it was very smooth and seemed pretty quick. The only mods are an slp loudmouth exhaust, 2 inch lowering springs, and a k&n filter. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
that is what is goin on in my head deciding weather or not to buy it.

Default Too many miles

His price is a bit high for that kind of mileage. How many more miles are left on it before big (and I mean BIG) bills? Pass on that one. Too many nice LS1 examples out there still with low to reasonable miles, even Firehawks in this buyer's market. Don't be afraid to travel to find that right car. Keeping something for years is well worth the travel expenses to get it, plus gas is really decent right now.

with the miles on the car- it depends how it was taken care of.. if the guy, (or girl) who owned it- took care of the car- and kept it inside- and is clean inside and out.. Ive seen some very nice examples of some cars with high miles- that ride like new ones.. If it hasnt been beat, raced- and is ultra clean- i wouldnt be afraid to spend 7500-8k.. I would see if you could get that thing down alittle- it is a m6 car- and clean.. i say offer away! Ps.. get the thing up on a lift- see what the underside looks like.. I know not much salt in carolina- but that baby has been drove ALL year round!! lol
