Step 2 – Check for vacuum leak

The good news is, if your vents aren't blowing air through, the problem is as simple as a bad hose. If you can visually find the bad hose causing the vacuum leak, then you've saved yourself some time; however, if you can't, then use soap and water to find the leak. Turn your vents to maximum, then spray some soap and water on your vacuum lines under the hood. If you see bubbles, then you've found your vacuum leak. Check for the hoses behind the intake, going towards the passenger side.
