5 Facts about Kelly Bise Racing and the 2500hp Corvette
Kelly Bise Racing are performance addicts that love horsepower and the LS motor. Here are some facts about these race car builders and their beasts, including their C6 Z06.
1. Speed Freaks, Horsepower Addicts
Kelly Bise and the racing team that bears his name are car builders with tremendous love for performance and the need for speed. They are responsible for the world's fastest Camaro, reaching over 260 mph in the standing mile, as well as various other beasts, like a Ford GT, a Corvette Grand Sport, a Camaro ZL1, and of course, the Corvette Z06 that was built after the wreck of the Camaro.

3. C6 Corvette Z06 Story
Kelly bought the Corvette Z06 brand new in 2009. Being a man who can never have enough power, by the time the odometer had hit 1,000 miles, the Vette had received a head and cam upgrade, and before it reached 1,500 miles, a supercharger upgrade. After the world's fastest Camaro was totaled, the Corvette got twin turbos and nitrous and was getting close to having 3,000 hp.

4. Corvette Z06 Specs
The Corvette Z06 doesn't have a speed record yet; however, the plan is to set a record and become the world's fastest Corvette. As of right now, the Vette has a 427 RHS Block, a custom camshaft, aluminum intake manifold, direct Nitrous injection, 108 mm throttle body, and 235 pound injectors. The Z06 currently produces over 2,500 RWHP, but the build is never over.

5. Safety First
When you're trying to build the world's fastest cars, you must prepare for the worst. The Z06 is equipped with a Chrome Molly roll cage, by Gap Racing, similar to what the Camaro had. The cage is certified by the NHRA and for land speed racing. Both seats are equipped with five-point Simpson race belts, and the seats are custom Carvaggio units. As an example of how safe Kelly's builds are, he was back to building and racing just 3 months after destroying the Camaro at over 200 mph.
