1. $7/Day

In 1968, Montgomery Ward had this ad all over as they offered a convertible Chevrolet Camaro for rent. The $7 per day rental had a V-8 engine with 327 cubic-inches. Close to 50 years later, today Dream Car Rentals in Las Vegas offer a 1968 Camaro for rental, and although the car is the same, the price went up from $7 to $299 for the day.

2. Camaro, Billboards, and Rock and Roll

When Elvis Presley took the stages in 1935, Rock and Roll was born, and the world was never the same. Chevrolet thinks the 1998 Camaro had the same impact on the world as Rock and Roll, and we can't truly argue with that knowing it hid an LS engine under its hood.

3. Politically Correct, It Ain't.

There is nothing politically correct about a loud, aggressive, vulgar, and sexy car like the Camaro. For years, a big portion of the world has been fighting for political correctness, while Camaro targets the rebels and nonconformists. If you're seeking a preppy car that drives on the right side of the road, this isn't for you; however, if loud and obnoxious peaks your interest, this billboard will speak to you.

4. 1967 Camaro - Enough Said

People say they don't make them like they used to, and this Camaro speaks for itself, even in advertisement. When you are trying to promote a 1967 Chevy Camaro, words will just take away from its magic, and since pictures speak louder than words, this billboard knows what's on it, and it knows that the Camaro screams louder than most other car on the road.

5. Feel the Future

In 2010, Chevrolet believed their Camaro Z28 was the future, and numerous years later, one cannot argue with that statement. With a beautiful exterior that can comfortably compete with the Mustang, and over 500-horsepower, the Camaro is always futuristic, and it will always be historic.

6. Instant Vacation

This photo was taken in 1969 in south Los Angeles. We all associate the Camaro with fun, adventures, and excitement. In other words, it's a vacation. If you lived in California back then, or even if you live in it right now, the sight of a convertible with surfboards is an instant vacation, but when you add a Camaro to that picture, then you're looking at a unique vacation you won't forget.

7. Only Its Shadow Comes Close

In perhaps one of the coolest lines every written on a billboard, Chevy advertised their Camaro's speed by claiming that no other cars can even compete with it, and if someone is worthy enough to get close to it, it will only be close to its shadow. This billboard will make you want a Camaro this instant, and it will also make you want to hang-out with whomever came up with it.
