Install or not install HS rockers?
Yeah, Just finished all the springs and want to get bolt on the rockers so I can turn it over and test the cam.
Should I try my HS rockers after reading this post?

Don't even know if this is worth it. It seems like these may only give me one thing...grief. I assumed by buying a roller rocker I would posible get a smoother, queter valvetrain. Too bad they are so nice looking..I like the orange.
So should I still put these on? Is there anyone who has not had any problems?

Already put the stockers on tonight cause I wanted to make sure the cam was dialed in properly before I proceeded . Maybe I will swap them in a few weeks. Thanks for replying.

I just opened the HS rockers and was a little confused. 7 of the 8 pairs came
right apart. The rod stayed captive in one rocker and the other was free. Are
they supposed to that? The last pair was held together pretty good and thus
I left it like that, which confused me. I also did notice that the rod in
between the pair of rockers was shorter/longer on some of the pairs. The
rocker mounts seem to be evenly spaced on the stands though. Any concerns?
Did I get a defective group?

I put the harlansharp rockers on after my first oil change from my head and cam swap. After finding a bunch of needle bearing on my oil pan plug from my stock rockers. I have the PPII 5.3 Ihad to file the corner of one but other than that fit fine. They do come apart so you can center them over the springs once you tighten them down they womt move.I picked up a tenth in et and they might be a tad quieter. 2000 miles since install and several passes no worries.

I am emailing them as I write this just to make sure. Just disturbs me that the spacers are all different sizes and one pair is captive while the others are not.
