1. V12 LS Based Engine

Matt and Shane Cornish arrived at SEMA with the first commercially available 12-cylinder, LS engine. To put it simply, two LS engine blocks were chopped, then welded together for a total displacement of 519 cubic-inches, but this isn't something you can do at home with your TIG machine. Quality Custom Rides built the car, and the motor comes from the aptly named V12LS.com, who have a detailed write up here.

2. FiTech Ultimate LS Induction Kit

A new high horsepower induction system from FiTech also made it's debut at SEMA 2016. This new intake and fuel injection system is a cost-efficient way to enhance the performance of almost any LS engine, and kits are available to support applications up to 750 horsepower. You can read all about it and what makes it the ultimate LS fuel and air system at the FiTech site here.

3. Adjustable Pushrods

The COMP Performance Group delivered a winner in the Performance Racing Category with their adjustable pushrods for GM LS Engines. These new pushrods have separate top and bottom sections and shims for adjustment, meaning you no longer need to run the adjustable rocker arms or hydraulic lifters on an LS motor. New lighter rocker, and the adjustable pushrods have been tested to 9,000 rpm. More details can be found here.

4. Kooks LS Turbo Headers

Considering a turbo for your LS motor? These thick-gauge stainless steel headers allow for a turbocharger to be added to any LS application. Kooks makes several different designs, all made to take the heat and abuse of a high power turbo set up, and all of them show here.

5. FAST 102mm Performance LSXR Intake Manifold

This is a high-power version of the LSXR intake manifold. It gives LS3 engines with rectangular ports more plenum volume for racing, with a less restrictive runner design and a raised 102mm throttle body. You can read more about it on the FuelAirSpark site here.

6. Comp Cams Radius Tip LS Rockers

These radius-tip rocker arms were designed by Comp Cams with techniques borrowed from NASCAR and F1 racing. The steel rockers feature a sculpted, thin-wall structure with centered valve design for reduced friction and better valve action. You can read more about them here.
