7 Foods to Avoid for Your Camaro's Sake

In celebration of National Fast Food Day here in the great United States, here is a quick guide of foods to avoid so your Camaro doesn't suffer.

1. Burger King's Hershey's Sundae Pie

Tasty tasty chocolate! If you happen to drop some of this sweet treat on your cloth interior or floor mats, then you are in for a potential battle. If you happen to get some on your interior, resist the urge to rub it out. Because you'll actually be rubbing it in! To get rid of the offending mark you'll have to let it dry, harden, and then chip as much as can off the area. That's about all you can do short of shampooing the surface to get rid of the chocolate chaos.

2. Coffee From Your Favorite Java Pusher

Coffee can be argued is not truly a food but we thought it should be included for the fair warning of what it can do to your car AND you. Coffee causes more accidents than any other digestible product on the market because it is delicious lava when hot. See what your therapy sessions come to when you spill a hot cup of java beans on your crotch while doing the speed limit and you'll see why we included it on the list.

3. Doughnuts

Yes, doughnuts are delicious as hell but they are also grease traps with crumbling toppings. With things on the menu, such as jelly and cream-filled confections to screw up your floor mats and ruin your clothes, we say stop here at your own peril. Choose to ignore our warnings and see how badly you feel when you discover month old sprinkles under your car seat.

4. Taco Bell Tacos

Tacos seem like a great idea for food on the go but the truth is that these crunchy time bombs are just waiting to screw you over the first chance they get.  If the shell doesn't break into seemingly a million little pieces then the cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes will surely make you wish you had just waited until you got out the car to take a bite.

5. Anything with Mayo in It

Mayo isn't so bad on burgers and lots of people enjoy it with french fries but if you are eating it in the car, then beware! Mayo is a blanco ninja that will slip away from your food and hide out on some unsuspecting surface in your car until it decides to choke you out with its noxious fumes of bad dairy! Test your creativity by trying to explain that smell to all the passengers that dare get a ride from you.

6. Soda

Soda is bad for you and it's even worse for your car. If you don't believe us, just leave a half drunken cup in your car and watch the awful sticky sludge it will transform into over time. Leave an unopened can in your car during winter or summer and behold the mighty power of the soda geyser sprayed all over your interior!

7. Wendy's Rich and Meaty Chili

This one lands on the list by not only having a high spill factor but by rating on the pungent meter as well. It sure smells nice in the moment but just think about how sick you may feel when that smell refuses to leave your Camaro behind. Driving in the summer with the windows down is nice but you don't want to do it for the majority of the year, do you? Drop some on the floor or forget it under a seat and that smell will haunt you like an unwelcome poltergeist.
