1. 1967 Pontiac Firebird

In 1967, the Pontiac Firebird hit the streets, and it was an instant hit. The Firebird had various resemblance to the Camaro, but the split grille, the beaked-out hood, and the taillights made it its own. This car was offered with five different engine options, all produced by Pontiac. If you owned one of these cars at some point, you probably had some serious fun with it.

2. 1970 Chevrolet Camaro

The Chevrolet Camaro made its debut in 1966, one year before the Pontiac Firebird. This car is by far one of the most loved cars in America. You are probably wondering where the name Camaro came from, and if you weren't wondering, you probably are now; the name Camaro comes from nothing, and although some say it is a French slang for "friend," neither GM, nor most French-speakers admit or even know this. If you ever owned one of these, you've probably burnt some serious tires.

Fortunately, some Corvettes are quite affordable, like the C3 and the C4, and they are guaranteed to provide you with all the pleasure you would hope to get when you sit behind a Vette's steering wheel.

6. 1967 Ford Mustang

If you're a fan of the Chevy, you probably don't care for the Fords, that's just the way it works; however, not many aren't fans of the classic icon that is the Ford Mustang. The Mustang was introduced in 1964, and it continues to produce innovative, fun cars until this very day. The Ford Mustangs lost some of their fans in 1973, when there was a shortage in gasoline that forced Ford to change their standards. However, after over 50 years, the Mustang continues to be extremely popular in the US market.
