Dare to Be Different

As is, the modern day Camaro is far more than just the straight-line performer it used to be. These days, Chevy's legendary muscle car can turn corners, too. But after Bryan Everett picked up a brand new 2SS, he wanted to make it a little different than anybody else's. Thus, he built this monster recently featured at Super Chevy.

Old to New

Everett's GM roots can be traced back to his father, who worked for the automaker for 40 years. By the age of 16, the younger Everett had his first car - a 1967 Camaro that he learned to wrench on. But he later found himself infatuated with the potential of the latest breed of Chevy muscle.

Evil Intentions

That urge drove Everett to head down to his local dealership and purchase a brand new Camaro 2SS. But he wasn't going to leave it stock, instead opting for making it much more powerful and capable of handling an occasional track day.

Fortified Suspension

To make that transformation happen, Everett shipped his car over to Quintin Brothers Auto and Performance in Williston, Vermont. The build kicked off with a host of BMR suspension parts, including lowering springs, upper control arms, toe rods, lower trailing arms, side chassis braces, rear cradle brace, and a driveshaft tunnel brace.

Force Fed

Then, the focus turned to power. And this Camaro makes plenty of that now thanks to the additional of a Whipple blower that pumps out 14 psi of boost. To ensure the engine gets adequate fuel, the team upgraded the entire fuel system as well.

Breathe Easy

QB then helped this new setup breath easier with American Racing long tube headers, a Corsa axle-back, and a Roto-Fab cold-air system. A custom tune helps it all work together harmoniously.

Comfort and Appearance

On the inside, you'll find a ton of added comfort and visual upgrades including suede seat inserts, red stitching, red paddle shifters, and a carbon fiber dash panel and shift knob.

Carbon Everywhere

To ensure the outside matches the punch of the inside, AQ added an Anderson Composites carbon COPO hood, Type AZ rocker panels, chin spoiler, rear diffuser, and a Type ST rear spoiler.

Cap It Off

Capping off the sinister look are Carbon Creations front bumper ducts, blacked-out LED lighting, and 20x10 front/20x11 rear Rohana wheels wrapped in 285/30R20 and 305/30R20 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

Show and Go

Needless to say, Everett's ride turned out better than anyone expected, even scoring a spot in the Quintin Brother's SEMA booth. And since it's equally capable of burning up the track and lighting up a car show, we're not surprised at all by any of that.
