1. The Gumball Rally (1976)

In a movie in which the plot is about a group of people partaking in a cross-country road race, there is no reason why the Camaro should be left out. The Camaro featured in The Gumball Rally is a 1972 Z28. Check out this clip of the Camaro in action.

2. Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)

Sean Penn stars in this comedy about sex, drugs and rock 'n roll with some teenage drama mixed in. Also starring in this 1982 film is the 1978 Z28. Check out this Camaro here and see why driving under the influence is frowned upon.

3. Christine (1983)

Buddy the bully didn't have a chance in his 1967 Camaro against the possessed Plymouth. Surely if Buddy just kept driving, he would have probably dodged Christine. Check out the chase that ended in an exploding Camaro here

4. Better Off Dead (1985)

In this romcom, starring John Cusack, Lane gets dumped and it begins his spiral into suicidal thoughts. Of course, this movie proves the coolness associated with driving a 1967 Camaro, as you can clearly see in this clip. Still, the story after the movie is more intriguing. This 1967 Camaro was long searched for and located by a fan to be restored. For more on the full story, click here

8. Remember the Titans (2000)

When it comes to movies based on true stories/events, Hollywood likes to stretch some things. Such is the case with this sport drama film. In Remember the Titans, Gerry Bertier gets hit by a truck after driving off distracted in his 1967 Camaro. The reality was a mechanical failure that caused him to get into an accident, causing his paralysis.

9. 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)

10. Dawn of the Dead (2004)

This remake of Romero's 1978 is a hit or miss for people, and you would think that a movie with a group of survivors trapped in a mall would have little-to-no cars present. If you have seen the movie, you know that is not the case. In fact, besides trucks and ambulances, various cars from Mercedes-Benz to Toyota make an appearance. The Camaro could be an easy one to miss if you aren't paying attention. It is parked in the parking garage and is shown just after the zombie attacks. For a better look, check out the scene here

11. Transformers (2007)

Much like Fast and Furious, this is another franchise somewhat responsible for the Camaro's popularity among the newer generation. Bumblebee happens to be one of the more favorite autobots in the movie, depending on who you talk to, of course. Beginning as a 1977 Camaro, this yellow robot changes into the 2009 Camaro in the movie.
