Well alright then

Many wouldn't have the stomach to do to this car what Gas Monkey has done. These guys have taken a clean first-gen Camaro and literally hacked it up in order to turn a cruiser into an off-road warrior. I wonder if the question was posed to anyone that even if you could do it, should you do it?

Did you see the episode?

Built on the hit show "Fast N' Loud" by Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman, this build started after Rawlings bought the 1967 Camaro with some rather disturbing mods already done. The beloved classic pony car had been the recipient of an ill-conceived lift from a Chevy Blazer chassis.

Power to back it up

The Camaro was then turned over to Kaufman and work began on the car to fix everything that was a bit off. In went a built 454 big block V8 engine and rebuilt axles, gears, and lockers from Yukon. The body was completely torn down and prepped for paint and a very interesting digital camo wrap.

Nicely done

In the cabin, the entire interior was replaced and a brand spanking new A/C was thrown in to keep occupants cool since heat rises. To make life a lot easier and parallel parking a bit smoother, a power steering system was installed with new brakes.

That's quite the jump

To make egress and ingress a lot easier, a set of Amp Research automatic electric folding steps are in place with a set of Rigid Rock lights underneath. The wheels are Fuel Maverick 20x10 rims wrapped in massive and grippy 44-inch Michelin XZL rubber.
