1. We all Have Our Own Demons

What better way to get rid of them than a good old-fashioned exorcism? The all new Hennessey Camaro Exorcist could be your ticket to motoring salvation from loudmouth Mopar bros. The new Hennessey Exorcist comes straight off the showroom floor with 1000 RWHP! Who is going to be the first to modify this beast to crank out even more? Based on the ZL1, Hennessey upgraded the car through a series of mods that include a high flowing supercharger, intercooler, ported factory cylinder heads, upgraded camshafts and custom engine management calibration among others.

2. Even the Demons will Shudder

How many people do you know jawin' up the Dodge Demon with its 840 HP? Shut em' up good with the Exorcist parked in your driveway. The car rides on rear drag radials and can make the journey from zero to sixty in under 3 seconds. It also has the ability to do 1/4 mile runs in less than 10 earth-scorching seconds. This is not just a car that will be famous for going in a  straight line down drag strips like other cars we know. John Hennessey himself points out that this is a super muscle car that is just as happy on a road course going through bends and corners as it is blowing past the competition on a 2 track.

3. Evil and Beautiful

Is there anything more stunning to look at than this 1000 HP powerplant? If you can't wait to see what your own Exorcist can do when you get your hands on it there is a special delivery option available. That option, should you choose it, will have the car delivered at Hennessey's own 1/4 mile dragstrip at Lonestar Motorsports Park. You can have the car with either transmission of a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic equipped ZL1.

4. The Strip

The Exorcist can be had as a turnkey car right from Hennessey or can be ordered directly from Chevy dealers. In addition to that, if you already have a ZL1 and grow tired of the car you can send it to HPE for the demon hunting conversion. The base cost for the upgrade is $55,000 and comes with a limited 2 year / 24,000-mile warranty. Automatic transmission Camaros will require additional upgrades that will be an extra $9,950 bucks. If you want the big 20-inch wheels that come with the drag pack that includes a drive shaft upgrade, tool kit and drag radials will set you back $8,995.  The optional road race pack comes with a different version of 20-inch lightweight wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires for almost 7 grand.  Unfortunately, just 100 units of the Exorcist will be made per model year which will make this car a coveted vehicle in enthusiast circles.

5. The battlefield is now set

With cars like the Demon and the Exorcist rolling out to the streets, be prepared for what your grandma would refer to a good ol' fashioned throwdown of biblical proportions to occur. If you do buy an Exorcist Camaro, for added insurance in keeping rabid Mopar fans at bay may we suggest adding the rare option of an exorcism kit? In it, you'll get some refreshing holy water, a crucifix, some prayer beads and the always resourceful pistol. Well, okay so there's no real kit you can purchase for the car but hey, it would be cool if there was, right?

You can check out the car and lots of hi-res pictures at Hennessey's website.
