Extreme Turbo Systems Now Selling Its Record-Breaking C8 Kit

New Kit

Last summer, we reported that Extreme Turbo Systems had managed to extract 736 horsepower from a C8 Corvette equipped with its prototype twin-turbo kit and a proprietary tuning solution. Soon afterward, they wound up pushing that number up over 1,000 - good enough for a record-breaking 9.95-second quarter-mile pass. Now, that very kit has entered production and is available to purchase.

Several Flavors

Pricing for the turbo kit ranges from $13,995 to $18,995, as it's available in several different variations. The entry-level kit is capable of producing 700 horsepower and works with the stock transmission clutches and bottom end. However, those that want more can certainly get it.

More Power

ETS's turbo kit is also available in 1,200, 1,500, and 2,000 horsepower versions, all of which require substantial work in the form of upgraded clutches, a built bottom end, and an upgraded fuel system. Those that don't want to run an intercooler can even do so but they will be limited to around 600 horsepower if they go that route.

All the Gear

The kit comes with the full array of equipment needed to make big power, including 44-millimeter wastegates, head-to-turbocharger pipes, K&N filters, a 3.5-inch exhaust with 4-inch tips, an oil feed return kit, PCV breather system, and all the mounting hardware, clamps, couplers, and gaskets you need to install it.
